What We Do

Transactional Due Diligence

Purchasers of property, as well as lending institutions, have to understand and carefully weigh environmental factors when making decisions and to obtain innocent purchaser status under federal and state law. EcolSciences assists its clients in making informed and intelligent decisions with these "due diligence" initiatives:

  • Phase I/Preliminary Assessments to characterize site-specific environmental conditions

  • Phase II Site Investigations to address specific areas of concern, including sampling and monitoring plan implementation

  • Testing for asbestos and chemical contamination

  • Identification and testing of underground storage tanks

  • Analyses of site environmental constraints, e.g., wetlands, protected species, flood plains

  • Site remediation plans

  • Post-remedial sampling, monitoring and reporting
